Reflection

Initially, the design team was hesitant about me introducing so many patterns and colors when they had been sending emails and making A-spots and B-spots for Spencer's the same way for a long time. Avoiding pattern backgrounds for graphics to not take attention away from the products and such. I learned to make designs so they didn't take away from the product, but I also convinced my team to try trendier patterns here and there.

Making several graphic emails a day was definitely intimidating for me. However, I slowly got the hang of proofreading and finalizing my designs quickly before submitting my tickets. I enjoyed a fast paced work environment as it was challenging, however I missed putting time into passion projects. I still liked this job a lot because it did allow for more creativity than other work I've had to do.

I worked with copywriters and my full design team in a fast-paced work environment, completing several design tickets every single day. I was given a header, CTA's, images and products, and spent several hours a day
